Specificity:
RNF25 (C-TERMINAL)
Isotype:
Polyclonal IgGSpecies Cross Reactivity: Reacts with: MouseN. B. Antibody reactivity and working conditions may vary between species.
Buffer Solution:
Phosphate buffered saline pH7. 2
Preservative Stabilisers:
0. 01% Sodium Azide (NaN3)Approx. Protein Concentrations: IgG concentration 1. 0mg/ml
Immunogen:
Synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acids near the carboxyl terminus of human RNF25.
Specificity:
Detects a specific epitope within the carboxy-terminal of RING finger protein 25 (RNF25 also named AO7). RNF25 is expressed in a variety of tissues and has been shown to act as an E3 ligase interacting with many proteins which may be potential ubiquitin ligase substrates. RNF25 localizes predominantly in the nucleus and supports the transcriptional activity of NF-?B by interacting with p65 upon stimulation with TNF. Recommended Secondary Antibodies: Sheep Anti Rabbit IgGGoat Anti Rabbit IgG (Fc)Goat Anti Rabbit IgG (H/L)
Function:
E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase that mediates ubiquitination and subsequent proteasomal degradation of NKD2 By similarity. Stimulates transcription mediated by NF-kappa-B. Ref. 6
Pathway:
Protein modification; protein ubiquitination. Subunit structureInteracts with UBE2D2 and may also interact with UBE2E1 and UBE2E3. Interacts with NKD2 By similarity. Interacts with RELA. Ref. 6
Domain:
The RING-type zinc finger domain interacts with an ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme (E2) and facilitates ubiquitination. Post-translational modificationUbiquitinated By similarity. Sequence similaritiesContains 1 RING-type zinc finger. Contains 1 RWD domain. 1. Favaloro E. J. et al.
