Peptide with sequence C-HGQKPGTHPPSELD from the C Terminus of the Notes: Peptide ELISA: antibody detection limit dilution 1:32 000. Western Blot: Preliminary experiments gave bands at approx 80kDa and 30kDa in Human Brain (Cerebellum) lysates after 1ug/ml antibody staining. Please note that currently we cannot find an explanation in the literature for the bands we observe given the calculated size of 25. 4kDa according to NP_061838. 1. Both detected bands were successfully blocked by incubation with the immunizing peptide (and BLAST results with the immunizing peptide sequence did not identify any other proteins to explain the additional bands). Summary: The protein encoded by this gene is a membrane protein that forms a receptor signaling complex with TYROBP. The encoded protein may be involved in chronic inflammation by triggering the production of constitutive inflammatory cytokines.
