GAMMA INTERFERON

The antibody is useful for neutralization of human IFN-gamma in bio-assays. Furthermore the antibodies can be used for Western blotting. immuno assays and to stain cells containing IFN-gamma in frozen sections as well as in cells cultured on cover slips. The antibody reacts with human gamma IFN (IFN-gamma) of both natural and recombinant origin. IFN-gamma is a pluripotent cytokine with important pro-inflammatory functions. The antibody inhibits the biological activity of natural and recombinant human IFN-gamma. The antigen specificity was further assessed by ELISA and Western blot.
