Immunogen:	Synthetic peptide corresponding to the amino acids 99 - 116 of the parathyroid hormone receptor 2 molecule.
Specificity Note:	This product is specific for the extracellular domain 1 of parathyroid hormone receptor 2. A member of the G-protein coupled receptor family particularly abundant in the brain and pancreas . It may be responsible for PTH effects in a number of physiological systems and may play a significant role in pancreatic function. Binds parathyroid hormone but shows very low affinity for PTHrP. This molecule is expressed in only a few tissues and its structure and physiologic significance are poorly characterized.
