A synthetic peptide corresponding to residues in the C-term of human IRAK-3 was used as immunogen.

WB: 1:1 000IP: 1:50. IRAK-3 (also known as IRAK-M) is a member of the interleukine-1 receptor-associated kinase (IRAK) family. The IRAK family is implicated in the Toll-like receptor (TLR) and Il-1R signaling pathway (1). Upon stimulation IRAK gets phosphorylated and activates NF-kB (2). Unlike IRAK IRAK2 and IRAK4 which are expressed ubiquitously IRAK-3 is mostly expressed in monocytes and macrophages (3). IRAK-M and IRAK-2 lack kinase activity while IRAK-3 has a weak capacity to be phosphorylated.
