WB: 1:500ICC: 1:100 - 250IP: 1:30. Synaptojanin is an inositol 5\' 0phosphatase and take part in membrane trafficking processes and signal transduction (1). Two isoform of Synaptojanin exists Synaptojanin 1 (aka Synaptojanin) and Synaptojanin 2. Synaptojanin is mainly expressed in nerve terminals and is involved in clathrin-mediated synaptic vesicle recycling in neuronal cells (2). Ubiquitously expressed and with high catalytic domains homology to Synaptojanin Synaptojanin 2 is considered as a Rac1 effector. Synaptojanin 2 possibly medicates the inhibitory effect of Rac1 on clathrin-mediated endocytosis. Synaptojanin 2 contributes to Rac1\' s role in cell invasions and migration by regulation the formation of specialized membrane structures in ECM (invaodopoida and lamellipoida).
