IF: Use at an assay dependent dilution. IP: Use at a concentration of 1-2µ g/mg. WB: Use at a concentration of 1-2µ g/ml for 2hrs at RT. This antibody detects a band of 18 kDa which corresponds to the predicted molecular weight of p18/INK4c. IHC(formalin fixed paraffin embedded): Use at a concentration of 2-4µ g/ml for 30 min at RT. Staining of formalin/paraffin tissues is requires boiling tissue sections in 10mM citrate buffer pH 6. 0 for 10-20 min followed by cooling at RT for 20 min. Not tested in other applications. Optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user. p18 INK4c is a specific inhibitor of cdk4 / cdk6 and is expressed during G 1 to S transition in the eukaryotic cell division cycle. It is maximally induced as cells enter S phase.

Heterodimer of p18 with CDK6.

Defects in CDKN2C are involved in tumor formation.
