Description	InvivoChem Cat #:V1095CAS #:51022-70-9Purity >=98% Description: Salbutamol Sulfate (AH-3365; AH3365; trade name Ventolin among others) is a potent, selective and short-acting beta2-adrenergic receptor agonist with the potential to relax airway smooth muscles. It activates beta2-adrenergic receptor with an EC50 of 8.93 uM. Salbutamol is used in the treatment of asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease/COPD. It is 29x fold more selective for beta2 receptors than beta1 receptors giving it higher specificity for pulmonary beta receptors versus beta1-adrenergic receptors located in the heart.
