Description	InvivoChem Cat #:V5136CAS #:2022-85-7Purity >=98% Description: Flucytosine (also known as 5-Fluorocytosine, 5-FC, Ancobon), a fluorinated pyrimidine analogue, is a potent and oral antifungal drug that is structurally related to the cytostatic fluorouracil and to floxuridine. Oral flucytosine is indicated for the treatment of serious infections caused by susceptible strains of Candida or Cryptococcus neoformans.
