Nimbolide

Description: Nimbolide is a naturally occuring triterpene/limonoid isolated from the leaves and flowers of neem (Azadirachta indica L), acting as an inhibitor of pancreatic cancer growth and metastasis through ROS-mediated apoptosis. It inhibits epithelial-to-mesenchymal transition, als induces apoptosis through inactivation of NF-kappaB. Nimbolide inhibits CDK4/CDK6 kinase activity. Nimbolide suppresses the NF-kappaB, Wnt, PI3K-Akt, MAPK and JAK-STAT signaling pathways.
