Target	FUNCTION: Binding of this ligand gated ion channel to ATP mediates synaptic transmission between neurons and from neurons to smooth muscle. Subcellular location: Membrane; Multi-pass membrane protein. Tissue specificity: High levels in pituitary and vas deferens. Lower extent in spinal cord, bladder, brain, adrenal, testis, sensory epithelia from the inner ear.

Applications info	IHC, WB. A dilution of 1 : 2000 to 1:4000 is recommended. The optimal dilution should be determined by the end user. Not yet tested in other applications.
Storage	Maintain the lyophilised/reconstituted antibodies frozen at -20C for long term storage and refrigerated at 2-8C for a shorter term. When reconstituting, glycerol (1:1) may be added for an additional stability. Avoid freeze and thaw cycles.
