Supplied as a liquid in 20mM tris-HCl buffer, pH 8.0, 0.1M sodium chloride, 1mM DTT, 10% glycerol.

DTD1 hydrolyzes D-tyrosyl-tRNA(Tyr) into D-tyrosine and free tRNA(Tyr). It could be a defense mechanism against a harmful effect of D-tyrosine. DTD1 may be a risk factor for aspirin-intolerant asthma (AIA) by catalyzing the hydrolysis of D-tryptophan and interacting with the tyrosyl-tRNA synthetase (tyrRS) enzyme, which promotes a pro-inflammatory phenotype. This protein is localize to the DUE(DNA unwinding element )s of active replication origins.

Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months after receipt at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
