10aa near the N-terminus of SARS E protein (1-2).

Applications:
The peptide is used for blocking the activity of the SARS E (NT) antibody. It usually blocks the antibody activity completely in ELISA assays by incubating the peptide with equal volume of antibody for 30 min at 37°C. It may also act to block the SARS E (NT) antibody in Western blots.

Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months after receipt at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
