Introduction	Calmodulin (CaM) is an intracellular receptor protein for Ca2+-ions. It activates the myosin light chain kinase which is the catalyst of myosin phosphorylation. CaM participates in the activation of enzymes such as cyclic nucleotide- dependent phosphodiesterase, calcineurin, ATPase, Myosin Light Chain Kinases, and CAM kinase.
Usage	ProSpec's products are furnished for LABORATORY RESEARCH USE ONLY. The product may not be used as drugs, agricultural or pesticidal products, food additives or household chemicals.
Immunogen	Anti-human Calmodulin mAb is derived from hybridization of mouse F0 myeloma cells with spleen cells from BALB/c mice immunized with recombinant human Calmodulin amino acids 1-149 purified from E. coli.
Storage	For periods up to 1 month store at 4C, for longer periods of time, store at -20C. Prevent freeze thaw cycles.
