Introduction	HTLV-1 is the etiological agent for Adult T-Cell Leukemia which encodes a 40kDa cell-transforming oncoprotein called Tax. HTLV-1 Tax protein sensitizes cells to apoptotic cell death induced by DNA damaging agents. Constitutive Activation of TAK1 by HTLV-1 Tax-dependent Overexpression of TAB2 Induces Activation of JNK-ATF2 but Not IKK-NF-kB.
Usage	ProSpec's products are furnished for LABORATORY RESEARCH USE ONLY. The product may not be used as drugs, agricultural or pesticidal products, food additives or household chemicals.
Immunogen	r.HTLV TAX protein.
Purification Method	Ion exchange column.
Protein concentration	1mg/ml in PBS (after reconstitution)
Reconstitution	Reconstitute with H20. Mix gently, wash the sides of the vial and wait 30-60 seconds before use.
Storage	In lyophilized form, for long periods, store at 4C in a dry environment. After reconstitution, if not intended for use within a month, aliquot and store at -20C
