Introduction	Family with Sequence Similarity 3, Member D (FAM3D) is a member of the FAM3 family. The FAM3D gene is linked to narcolepsy and diabetes mellitus in pancreatic adenocarcinoma, however FAM3D function of remains vague. FAM3D is amply expressed in the placenta and weakly expressed in the small intestine.
Description	FAM3D Human Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated, polypeptide chain (a.a 26-224) containing 209 amino acids including a 10 a.a N-terminal His tag. The total molecular mass is 23.3kDa (calculated).
Source	Escherichia Coli.
Physical Appearance	Filtered White lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder.
Formulation	FAM3D filtered (0.4 um) and lyophilized from 0.5mg/ml in 0.05M Acetate buffer pH-4.0.
Purity	Purity as determined by densitometric image analysis is greater than 90%.
Usage	ProSpec's products are furnished for LABORATORY RESEARCH USE ONLY. The product may not be used as drugs, agricultural or pesticidal products, food additives or household chemicals.
Storage	Store lyophilized protein at -20C. Aliquot the product after reconstitution to avoid repeated freezing/thawing cycles. Reconstituted protein can be stored at 4C for a limited period of time, it does not show any change after two weeks at 4C.
