Biological Activity	Full-length mouse adiponectin activates AMP-activated protein kinase in hepatocyte and activates AMPK in HepG2 human hepatocytes at a concentration of 1000ng/ml corresponding to a Specific Activity of 1000IU/mg. Mouse adiponectin mammalian cell derived inhibits glucose production as shown by in-vitro gluconeogenesis assay in primary rat hepatocytes.
Storage	Store lyophilized APM-1 at -20C. Aliquot the product after reconstitution to avoid repeated freezing/thawing cycles. Reconstituted protein can be stored at 4C for a limited period of time, it does not show any change after two weeks at 4C.
