Product description	BLBP, also named as FABP7, is a member of the FABP family of lipid chaperones involved in the uptake and intracellular trafficking of fatty acids. BLBP is expressed in radial glial cells during brain development. BLBP is up-regulated in brain tumor tissue; its expression has been associated with decreased survival times and tumor progression in patients with astrocytoma, melanoma, basal-type breast cancer, and renal cell carcinoma.
