Manufacturer - Specificity	This product recognizes rat ciliary neurotrophic factor (CNTF). Rat CNTF is a 22.7kD neuroregulatory cytokine which is found primarily in peripheral nerve tissue. CNTF promotes the survival and differentiation of neurons and other neuronal cell types.
Expiration	12 months from the date of shipment when stored properly.
Preparation	Antisera to rat CNTF were raised by repeated immunisations of rabbits with highly purified antigen. Purified IgG was prepared by affinity chromatography.
