Synthetic peptide corresponding to CHKKDHVFIRDEAGHGD, from human TAOK3, at the internal region of the protein (NP_057365.3).

TAOK3, also known as DPK or JIK, is a member of the TAO subfamily of serine/threonine kinases. The activity of TAOK3 can be negatively regulated by tyrosine kinase receptors, such as EGF receptor activation. In addition, the downstream targets of TAOK3 inhibit, rather than enhance, JNK/SAPK activation. Therefore, TAOK3 has been named as a JNK/SAPK-inhibitory kinase.

Applications:
Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.

Recommended Dilution:
ELISA: 1:32, 000
Western Blot: 0.3-1ug/ml, observed in human liver lysate on ~100kD bands
Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin): 2-3ug/ml
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
