Synthetic peptide corresponding to C-QGKAHLESRSYQEAQ, from rat PINK1, at the internal region of the protein (NP_115785.1).

Mutations in the PTEN-induced kinase (PINK1) gene located within the PARK6 locus on chromosome 1p35-p36 have recently been identified in patients with recessive early-onset Parkinson disease. Data suggests that PINK1 may be the second most common causative gene next to parkin in parkinsonism with the recessive mode of inheritance.

Applications:
Suitable for use in ELISA, Immunofluorescence and Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested.

Recommended Dilutions:
ELISA (Peptide): 1:8000
Immunofluorescence: 10ug/ml. Strong expression of PINK1 in the mitochondria and endoplasmImmunocytochemistry reticulim of HeLa cells
Flow Cytometry: 10ug/ml using MCF7 cells
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
