Supplied as a liquid in Tris, pH 7.3, 0.5% BSA, 0.02% sodium azide.

Peptide corresponding to DMELTSECATSPM from the C-terminus of the human protein sequence. (Accession # NP_003141.2 and NP_644805.1).

Domain Information: SH2 domain; STAT protein, DNA binding domain; STAT protein, all-alpha domain; STAT protein, protein interaction domain.

Applications:
Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications have not been tested.

Recommended Dilutions:
ELISA (Peptide): 1:128, 000 (antibody detection limit dilution)
Western Blot: 1-3ug/ml. A band at ~90kD is observed in NIH3T3 lysate (RIPA buffer, 35ug total protein per lane). Primary incubated for 1 hour; detection by ECL. Predicted MW of 88kD according to NP_003141.2.
Immunohistochemistry: 10ug/ml (overnight incubation). Stains mouse thymic medulla and not the cortex.
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
