Immunogen	Synthetic pepptide corresponding to aa1-40 of human b-Amyloid
Specificity	Recognizes the sequence of Human b-Amyloid [1-40] in the region from amino acids 15-30. No blocking activity was observed with b-Amyloid [1-12], whereas the peptides b-Amyloid [14-35], b-Amyloid [15-28] and b-Amyloid [17-30] were all able to block antibody activity as well as b-Amyloid [1-40].
Description	Applications: Suitable for use in RIA, ELISA, Dot Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: ELISA: 1ug/ml. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
