CD147Rg, consisting of the CDNA coding for the hinge region, CH2-and CH3 domain of human IgG1.

CD147, otherwise known as neurothelin, is a type I transmembrane glycoprotein and member of the immunoglobulin gene superfamily, broadly expressed on peripheral blood cells, endothelial cells, and increased on T cells following activation. CD147 is also strongly expressed on small lung cancer cells and hepatocellular carcinoma. Biological properties of CD147 include the regulation of T cells, integrin functions and cell adhesion, the stimulation of metalloproteinase (MMP) production by fibroblasts, the promotion of astrocyte outgrowths, and roles in tumor progression, neuronal system function and reproduction.

Applications:
Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Functional Assays and Western Blot. Other applications not tested.

Recommended Dilution:
Flow Cytometry: 10ul labels 10e6 cells in 100ul
Western Blot: detects a band of ~45-60kD in 293 human fibroblast cell lysates under non-reducing conditions.
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
