Supplied as a lyophilized powder from PBS, 5% trehalose. Reconstitute with 1ml sterile PBS.

Purified, E. coli-derived, recombinant human DAND5 (aa23-189; Accession # NP_689867).

COCO, also known as DAND5, Dante, and CKTSF1B3, is a member of the DAN Domain family of BMP antagonists that includes DAN, Gremlin, PRDC, and Cerberus. COCO binds and inhibits Xnr1, BMP-4, Activin, and Wnt8. It is implicated in gastrulation and embryonic left-right axis formation. Human COCO shares 60% and 24% aa sequence identity with mouse and Xenopus COCO, respectively.

Applications:
Suitable for use in ELISA. Other applications not tested.

Recommended Dilution:
ELISA: 2-8ug/ml
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability:
Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
