Synthetic peptide corresponding to C-GLFPANYVAPMTR, from the C Terminus of human GRAP2 (NP_004801.1).

This gene encodes a member of the GRB2/Sem5/Drk family. This member is an adaptor-like protein involved in leukocyte-specific protein-tyrosine kinase signaling. Like its related family member, GRB2-related adaptor protein (GRAP), this protein contains an SH2 domain flanked by two SH3 domains. This protein interacts with other proteins, such as GRB2-associated binding protein 1 (GAB1) and the SLP-76 leukocyte protein (LCP2), through its SH3 domains. Transcript variants utilizing alternative polyA sites exist.

Applications:
Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications have not been tested.

Recommended Dilutions:
Peptide ELISA Titer: 1:32, 000
Western Blot: 1-3ug/ml detects ~38kD band observed lysates of cell line Jurkat (calculated MW of 37.9kD according to NP_004801.1). In transfected HEK293 transiently expressing GRAP2 a band of approx. 40kD is observed. This band is not observed in the non-transfected HEK293.
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
