Synthetic peptide corresponding to aa22-30, TKAAR[trimethyl-K]SAP-C, of human histone H3 (KLH).

The methylation of specific histone lysines controls aspects of short- and long-term transcriptional regulation, in addition to the propagation of bulk chromosome structure and stability. Methylation of histone H3 K27 is also involved in transcriptional silencing of human polycomb target genes and earliest chromatin changes in the X-chromosome inactivation.

Applications:
Suitable for use in ELISA. Other applications not tested.

Recommended Dilutions:
ELISA: 1:1000
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
