Neurofilament preparation isolated from calf brain tissue.

Marker for the differentiation of 160kD neurofilament peptide from other intermediate filament proteins. Useful for studying neurofilament expression and for tumor characterization (pheochromocytoma, paraganglioma, ganglioneuroblastoma, ganglioneuroma and other tumors of neuronal origin).

Applications:
Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry, Immunofluorescence and Immunocytochemistry. Other applications not tested.

Recommended Dilutions:
Immunohistochemistry (frozen): 1:10
Immunohistochemistry (paraffin): 1:10, microwave treatment recommended
Immunofluorescence (IC): 1:10
Optimal dilution determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
