Chemokine receptors are specialized proteins that function at the surface of cells, and enable chemokines to trigger internal cellular processes. Chemokines and their receptors play a pivotal role in lymphocyte trafficking, recruiting and recirculation. Chemokines act through seven transmembrane G protein-coupled receptors. The chemokine system is increasingly recognized to play an important role in lymphocyte biology.

Human Toll Like Receptor-2 (TLR2) is also described as Toll/Interluekin-1 Receptor-Like Gene 4 (TIL4).

Applications:
Suitable for use in ELISA and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications have not been tested.

Recommended Dilution:
ELISA: 1:37, 500
Immunohistochemistry: 1:125 (Human spleen).
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
