Supplied as a liquid in PBS, pH 7.2, 0.02% sodium azide.

Three synthetic peptides corresponding to different regions of the mouse Nestin (NP_057910) (KLH). Species Sequence Homology: rat (NM_012987, NCBI).

Mouse Nestin is an approximately 207kD protein (1864aa) expressed in neural crest cells, CNS neural stems cells, as well as a few non-neural cell types in the embryo, including cells within the pancreatic islets of Langerhans and the limb bud. Nestin is an intermediate filament-associated protein, and contributes to the cytoskeleton.

Applications:
Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry, Immunocytochemistry and Western Blot. Other applications have not been tested.

Recommended Dilutions:
Immunohistochemistry: 1:2000-1:5000 using 2% paraformaldehyde-fixed tissues.
Immunocytochemistry: 1:2000-1:5000 using 2% paraformaldehyde-fixed cells.
Western Blot: 1:10, 000-1:20, 000
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
