9 residue synthetic peptide [GRTGRRNSI-NH2], which is a specific substrate of PKA (Km~0.11uM). When compared to Kemptide, the Km of PKA Substrate Peptide is 40 fold lower and Vmax is two times higher.

Applications:
Kinase Assay: Tested using 250ng of PKA catalytic subunit to phosphorylate 10uM of the PKA Substrate Peptide.

Storage and Stability:
Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 6 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O or buffer. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
