TCL1A, also known as T-cell leukemia/lymphoma 1A, is a protein with a suggested role in intracellular regulation of T cell signaling. TCL1A binds to the pleckstrin homology domain of Akt (protein kinase B) family proteins, which facilitates Akt dimerization and activity. By increasing Akt activity TCL1A may enhance the serine/threonine phosphorylation of major Akt signaling substrates, such as Ikk complex, mTOR, BAD, p70S6 kinase, FOXO transcription factors, and GSK3b. These substrates regulate cellular differentiation, growth, survival, and metabolism. Recombinant TCL1A protein , expressed in E. coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques.

Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested.

Recommended Dilution:
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage, aliquot and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 6 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
