Description	GFAP is an intermediate filament. GFAP and vimentin are linked to the same filament network; they are localized in the same filaments. mRNAs encoding the glial intermediate filament protein are spatially dispersed in the glial cell cytoplasm close to the location of the glial filaments.

Buffer	The protein was lyophilized from a 1 mg/ml solution containing 10 mM sodium phosphate buffer (pH 7.5), 6 M urea, 2 mM DTT, 1 mM EDTA and 10 mM methylammonium chloride.
