Immunogen: Recombinant human ATG4A
Preparation: This antibody was produced from a hybridoma (mouse myeloma fused with spleen cells) from a mouse immunized with recombinant human ATG5 (Autophagy related protein 5). ATG5 is also called APG5L and Apoptosis­specific Protein and is a ubiquitous 32 kDa member of the ATG family of proteins.
Formulation and Storage: The IgG fraction of culture supernatant was purified by Protein G affinity chromatography and lyophilized from a 0.2um filtered solution in phosphate-buffered saline (PBS). Lyophilized samples are stable for 2 years from the date of receipt when stored at -70C
Specificity: This antibody recognizes human ATG5 in direct ELISAs and WBs. It cross reacts with mouse and rat ATG5 protein in WBs.
Reconstitution: Reconstituted antibody can also be aliquoted and stored frozen at < -20 for at least for six months without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
