IL 8 Rhesus Macaque Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated, polypeptide chain containing 79 amino acids and having a molecular mass of 9.1kDa.The IL 8 Rhesus Macaque is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.

Physical Appearance and Stability: Lyophilized IL-8 although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18C. Upon reconstitution IL-8 should be stored at 4C between 2-7 days and for future use below -18C.Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
Formulation and Purity: Lyophilized from a 0.2um filtered concentrated solution in PBS, pH 7.4. Greater than 97.0% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Solubility: It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized IL-8 in sterile 18M-cm H2O not less than 100ug/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.
Biological Activity: Determined by its ability to chemoattract human peripheral blood neutrophils using a concentration range of 50-150ng/ml, corresponding to a Specific Activity of 6, 667-20, 000IU/mg.
