APOE3 Human Recombinant (19-317) produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated, polypeptide chain containing 306 amino acids and having a molecular mass of 35kDa.The APOE is fused to a 7 amino acid His tag [M-HHHHHH] at N-terminus and purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.

Physical Appearance and Stability: Lyophilized APOE3 although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18C. Upon reconstitution APOE should be stored at 4C between 2-7 days and for future use below -18C.For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA).Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
Formulation and Purity: Lyophilized from a 0.2um filtered solution in PBS. Greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Solubility: It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized APOE in sterile 18M-cm H2O not less than 100ug/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.
Biological Activity: Immobilized rHuApoE3 binds to rMuVLDLR with EC50 less than 0.4ug/ml.
