Tumor Necrosis Factor-beta Human Recombinant produced in Sf9 Baculovirus cells is a single, glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 180 amino acids (35-205a.a.) and having a molecular mass of 19.7kDa (Molecular size on SDS-PAGE will appear at approximately 18-28kDa).TNFB is fused with a 6 amino acids His tag at C-Terminus and purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.

Physical Appearance and Stability: Store at 4C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store, frozen at -20C for longer periods of time. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA).Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
Formulation and Purity: TNFB protein solution (0.5mg/ml) contains Phosphate Buffered Saline (pH7.4) and 10% glycerol. Greater than 90.0% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Biological Activity: Measured in a cytotoxicity assay using L-929 mouse fibrosarcoma cells in the presence of the metabolic inhibitor actinomycin D. The ED50 for this effect is = 1ng/ml.
