FGF17 Human Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated, polypeptide chain containing 195 amino acids and having a molecular mass of 22.6kDa.

Physical Appearance and Stability: Lyophilized FGF17 although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18C. Upon reconstitution FGF17 should be stored at 4C between 2-7 days and for future use below -18C. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA). Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
Formulation and Purity: FGF17 protein was lyophilized from a 0.2um filtered concentrated solution in PBS, pH 7.4. Greater than 95.0% as determined by: (a) Analysis by RP-HPLC.(b) Analysis by SDS-PAGE.
Solubility: It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized FGF17 in sterile 18M?-cm H2O not less than 100ug/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.
Biological Activity: Fully biologically active when compared to standard. The ED50 as determined by a cell proliferation assay using murine balb/c 3T3 cells is less than 10 ng/ml, corresponding to a specific activity of > 1.0 x 100, 000 IU/mg.
