Physical Appearance and Stability: Lyophilized FGF5 although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18C. Upon reconstitution FGF-5 should be stored at 4C between 2-7 days and for future use below -18C. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA). Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
Formulation and Purity: FGF-5 protein was lyophilized from a 0.2um filtered solution in 10mM sodium phosphate and 100mM sodium chloride pH 7.5. Greater than 95.0% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Application:
Solubility: It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized FGF5 in sterile 18M-cm H2O not less than 100ug/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.
