Physical Appearance and Stability: Lyophilized IGFBP4 although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18C. Upon reconstitution IGFBP-4 should be stored at 4C between 2-7 days and for future use below -18C. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA).Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
Formulation and Purity: IGFBP 4 was lyophilized after extensive dialysis against PBS. Greater than 95.0% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Application:
Solubility: It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized IGFBP4 in sterile 18M-cm H2O not less than 100ug/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.
Biological Activity: The ED50 range is 0.01-0.09ug/ml  as measured by its ability to inhibit the biological activity of IGFII (20ng/ml) on MCF7 human breast adenocarcinoma cells.
