Physical Appearance and Stability: Store at 4C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store, frozen at -20C for longer periods of time. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA).Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
Formulation and Purity: CNTF protein solution (1mg/ml) containing 20 mM Tris-HCl
buffer (pH 8.5), 1 mM DTT, 30% Glycerol and 0.2M NaCl. Greater than 95.0% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Biological Activity: Measured in a cell proliferation assay using TF-1 human erythroleukemic cell. The ED50 for this effects is less
or equal to 1 ug/ml.
