Synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acids N-terminus of Human Csk.

C terminal Src kinase (CSK) is a non receptor protein tyrosine kinase. One of its major functions is to specifically phosphorylate a conserved C terminal tyrosine of Src family kinases thereby down regulating their kinase activity. CSK is expressed ubiquitously as a protein of ~50kDa in cytosol, but a fraction distributes to lipid rafts due to interaction with the lipid raft associated protein PAG (CSK binding protein).

Applications:
Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence, Western Blot. Other applications not tested.

Recommended Dilution:
Western Blot: 1:500-1:1000
Immunofluorescence: 1:50-1:200
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
