Purification method
This monoclonal antibody was purified using multi-step affinity chromatography methods such as Protein A or G depending on the species and isotype.

The CD3 complex is present on thymocytes and mature T-lymphocytes of all mouse strains tested.
Background
CD3 subunits gamma, delta and epsilon are required for proper assembly, trafficking and surface expression of the TCR complex.

Storage
anti-CD3e In Vivo Antibody - Low Endotoxin (500A2) is stable for at least one week when stored sterile at 2-8°C. For long term storage aseptically aliquot in working volumes without diluting and store at –80°C. Avoid Repeated Freeze Thaw Cycles.

Functional Assay: Binding of Hamster Anti-Mouse CD3ε (Clone 500 A2) to CD3 initiates the intracellular biochemical pathway resulting in cellular activation and proliferation. - Each investigator should determine their own optimal working dilution for specific applications.
