Storage Conditions	The lyophilized antibody can be stored desiccated at -20°C to -70°C for up to twelve months. The reconstituted antibody can be stored for at least four weeks at 2-8°C. For long-term storage of the reconstituted antibody, aseptically aliquot into working volumes and store at -20°C to -70°C in a manual defrost freezer. Avoid repeated freeze thaw cycles. No detectable loss of activity was observed after six months.
Product Description	Interleukin 11 (IL-11) is a multifunctional cytokine isolated from bone marrow-derived stromal cells. It is a key regulator of multiple events in hemtaopoiesis, most notably the stimulation of megakaryocyte maturation.1 It is also known under the names Adipogenesis inhibitory factor (AGIF)2 and Oprelvekin. IL-11 improves platelet recovery after chemotherapy-induced thrombocytopenia, induces acute phase proteins, modulates antigen-antibody responses, participate in the regulation of bone cell proliferation and differentiation and could be use as a therapeutic for osteoporosis. Besides from lymphopoietic/hematopoietic and osteotrophic properties, it has functions in many tissues such as brain, gut and testis.

Manufacturer - Specificity	Mouse Anti-Human Interleukin-11 (IL-11) (Clone 22616) recognizes an epitope on Human IL-11. This monoclonal antibody was purified using multi-step affinity chromatography methods such as Protein A or G depending on the species and isotype. This antibody shows 100% cross-reactivity with rmIL-11 and no cross-reactivity with rhIL-6, rhIL-6 R, rhLIF, rhOSM, rhCT-1, rhCNTF, or rhCLC.
