Storage Conditions	The lyophilized antibody can be stored desiccated at -20°C to -70°C for up to twelve months. The reconstituted antibody can be stored for at least four weeks at 2-8°C. For long-term storage of the reconstituted antibody, aseptically aliquot into working volumes and store at -20°C to -70°C in a manual defrost freezer. Avoid repeated freeze thaw cycles. No detectable loss of activity was observed after six months.
Product Description	Insulin-like growth factor 2 (IGF-2) is a polypeptide hormone with structural and functional homology with IGF-I and pro-insulin.1 IGF-2 exerts its effects by binding to the IGF-1 receptor. IGF2 may also bind to the IGF-2 receptor. The major role of IGF2 is growth promoting hormone during gestation. IGF-2 has been shown to be an important regulator of fetoplacental growth.2

Other Applications Reported In Literature	Neutralization: This antibody is useful for neutralization of Human IGF-II bioactivity. The antibody dose required to neutralize 50% (ND₅₀) of the biological activity of Human IGF-II (at 14 ng/ml) is 10-30 µg/ml.

Manufacturer - Specificity	Mouse Anti-Human insulin-like growth factor II (IGF-II) (Clone 75015) recognizes an epitope on Human IGF-II. This monoclonal antibody was purified using multi-step affinity chromatography methods such as Protein A or G depending on the species and isotype. This antibody shows 100% cross-reactivity with rmIGF-II and no cross-reactivity with rhIGF-I or rmIGF-I.
