Storage Conditions	The lyophilized antigen affinity purified polyclonal antibody can be stored desiccated at -20°C to -70°C for twelve months from date of receipt. The reconstituted antibody can be stored for at least four weeks at 2-8°C. For long-term storage of the reconstituted antibody, aseptically aliquot into working volumes and store at -20°C to -70°C in a manual defrost freezer. Avoid Repeated Freeze Thaw Cycles. No detectable loss of activity was observed after six months.
Product Description	Osteoprotegerin (OPG), also known as osteoclastogenesis inhibitory factor (OCIF) is a cytokine, which can inhibit osteoclast differentiation, activity, and survival.1 It is a member of the tumor necrosis factor (TNF) receptor superfamily.2 OPG may provide a pharmacological tool for osteoporotic and erosive bone disorders.3

Other Applications Reported In Literature	Neutralization: This antibody is useful for neutralization of Mouse OPG bioactivity. The antibody dose required to neutralize 50% (ND₅₀) of the biological activity of Mouse OPG (at 0.1 ng/ml) is 0.5-2.0 µg/ml. Immunohistochemistry: Suitable for use at concentration of 5-15 µg/mL.
