Anti-Human TROP-2 (Clone 77220)

Quality Tested by Leinco Western Blotting: To detect Human TROP-2 this monoclonal antibody can be used at a concentration of 1-2 µg/ml. This monoclonal antibody should be used in conjunction with compatible second-step reagents such as PN:M114 and a chromogenic substrate such as PN:T343. The detection limit for rhTROP-2 is approximately 5 ng/lane and 25 ng/lane under non-reducing and reducing conditions, respectively. The sensitivity of detection may increase up to 50 fold when a chemiluminescent substrate is used.

Trop-2 is a cell surface glycoprotein1 that is highly expressed in a wide variety of epithelial cancers. There is little or no expression of Trop-2 in adult somatic tissue.2 Trop-2 is a novel calcium signal transducer3 involved in the regulation of cell- cell adhesion.4 It is an oncogene that has potential as a therapeutic target.2 It is a possible candidate gene for diagnosis and molecular target therapy of colorectal cancer.5

Mouse Anti-Human TROP-2 (Clone 77220) recognizes an epitope on Human TROP-2. This monoclonal antibody was purified using multi-step affinity chromatography methods such as Protein A or G depending on the species and isotype. This antibody shows no cross-reactivity with rhVCAM-1 and rhICAM-1.

This monoclonal antibody has been 0.2 µm filtered and lyophilized from modified Dulbecco's phosphate buffered saline (1X PBS) pH 7.2 - 7.3 containing 5.0% w/v trehalose with no calcium, magnesium or preservatives present.
