Storage Conditions	The IFN-a antibody solution should be stored undiluted at 4 C.
Description	Interferon-a is a potent multifunctional cytokine which is secreted primarily by activated NK cells and T cells. Originally characterized based on anti-viral activities, IFN-a also exerts anti-proliferative, immunoregulatory, and proinflammatory activities. IFN-a can upregulate MHC class I and II antigen expression by antigen-presenting cells. The B27 antibody reacts with the human interferon-a. The B27 antibody can neutralize the bioactivity of natural or recombinant IFN-a.
Formulation	Phosphate-buffered solution, pH 7.2, containing 0.09% sodium azide. Precaution: Sodium azide is a poisonous and hazardous substance which should be handled by trained staff only.
Immunogen	E. coli, -expressed recombinant human IFN-a
Purification	The antibody was purified by affinity chromatography.
Concentration	0.5 mg/ml
