Storage Conditions	Store lyophilized protein at -20C and reconstituted protein in working aliquots at -20C with a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA) as a stabilizer for long term storage. Please note that the addition of any carrier protein into this product may produce unwanted endotoxin. This depends upon the particular application employed. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles .

Description	Recombinant human FLT3 Ligand contains 155 amino acids and a 14 amino acid Histidine-based tag for a total length of 169 amino acids. The predicted molecular weight of the recombinant FLT3 Ligand is 19.9 kDa, but the recombinant protein migrates as two bands with an apparent MW = 20 and 22 kDa in SDS-PAGE as a result of glycosylation.

Reconstitution	Centrifuge vial prior to opening . Add sterile PBS to the vial to fully solubilize the protein to a concentration of 10 ug/ml.

Biological Activity	Determined by Cell Proliferation Assay for the dose-dependent effects of serial dilutions of recombinant human FLT3 Ligand on AML5 cells. The ED50 is typically in the range of 0.9-1.4 ng/ml.
Endotoxin Level	< 0.005 ng/ug of FLT3 Ligand
