Storage Conditions	Store lyophilized protein at -20C and reconstituted protein in working aliquots at -20C with a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA) as a stabilizer for long term storage. Description	Recombinant human FLT3 Ligand contains 155 amino acids and a 14 amino acid Histidine-based tag for a total length of 169 amino acids. The predicted molecular weight of the recombinant FLT3 Ligand is 19.9 kDa, but the recombinant protein migrates as two bands with an apparent MW = 20 and 22 kDa in SDS-PAGE as a result of glycosylation.

Reconstitution	Centrifuge vial prior to opening . Add sterile PBS to the vial to fully solubilize the protein to a concentration of 10 ug/ml.

Biological Activity	Determined by Cell Proliferation Assay for the dose-dependent effects of serial dilutions of recombinant human FLT3 Ligand on AML5 cells. The ED50 is typically in the range of 0.9-1.4 ng/ml.
